Tomer Hemed leaves Australian Western Sydney Wanderers after one season. The Israeli striker posted on his Instagram page that he will not continue with the club that finished in tenth place out of 12 in the league, and he will sign with a new team.
Hemed Wrote: “I want to thank the Western Sydney family and wish the team the best in the future after one season I decided to move on to a new challenge. It was a pleasure to be a part of this amazing club, and now I am ready for the next destination. “
The 35-year-old striker has scored six goals in 20 league games last season, and netted one more. He recorded 1,144 minutes in the league. Remember, Sydney is not his first team in Australia, when in November 2020 he signed with Wellington Phoenix after leaving English Charlton.
