A few weeks ago, a student of the Security Law Academy of Malé Svatoňovice in Trutnovsk behaved very bravely. With her actions, she helped helpless minor girls who were harassed by a drunken man. The high school girl first tried to verbally correct him, and when he tried to make physical contact, she confronted the harasser without hesitation.
On the bus in which the student was traveling, a man under the influence of alcohol made inappropriate comments to underage girls. The student therefore called on him to stop his inappropriate behavior. Unfortunately, it didn’t help and the man started addressing other people present as well. However, the brave high school girl persistently tried to guide the drunkard.
“Later, she didn’t even hesitate to step in front of this man to protect the young, helpless girls herself, as the man was also trying to make physical contact,” police spokeswoman Magdaléna Vlčková described the situation. She added that the police are investigating the case and the man, who breathed 3.42 parts per million of alcohol in his breath, is suspected of rioting.
The brave high school student was praised by the director of the Králové Hradec police, Petr Sehnoutka, who personally came to the school to thank her. “The way the student behaved and how she helped to protect the young ladies from the harassing man with her attentive and proactive behavior is respectable. She showed a high degree of courage and determination. The student deserves thanks for that,” said Sehnoutka.
