Two thirds of incoming letters in corporate emails are sent by scammers

According to Bi.Zone research, the share of phishing emails in 2023 increased by 70% year-on-year. Every 137th letter in corporate mail turned out to be phishing. The trend was confirmed by MTS Red Soc. According to the company, the growth in the number of phishing emails in 2023 was about 57% year-on-year. Over the past year, MTS Red Soc specialists recorded more than 15 million phishing emails, while in 2022 there were about 9.5 million. The peak of such mailings in 2023 occurred in May, June and December, a representative of Solar Group clarified.
