Ukraine has banned the singer from Russia from entering the country for three years

Two citizens of Russia, the singer and the organizer of her performances, were not allowed to enter Kiev during border control, the state border service of Ukraine said.

The Russians arrived in Kiev on a flight from Istanbul. The message of the border service says that earlier in different years the singer and her companion visited Crimea, where they participated in festivals. They also flew to Ukraine for the concert.

“For violation of the norms of Ukrainian legislation, Russians were denied permission to cross the border and banned from entering for three years,” the message says.

“Kiev, urgent and sad news. The concert, which was supposed to take place on December 10, will be postponed to another date due to circumstances beyond our control. Unfortunately, I was denied entry to the territory of Ukraine, ”the singer said in a story.

In September, the Security Service of Ukraine informed the relevant authorities about the concerts of rapper Morgenstern planned in the country and stated that his performances on the territory of the republic were prohibited. The department recalled that in April this year, the Russian singer was included in the list of persons posing a threat to the national security of Ukraine.
