UN President Antonio Guterres has warned that the world could face dire consequences if the Russia-Ukraine war erupts.
Ukraine, a former Soviet Union, and its neighbor Russia have long been at loggerheads.
The conflict has now reached a climax following the rejection of Russia’s request not to include Ukraine in NATO.
Tensions are high on the Ukrainian border with Russia, which has amassed more than 1 million troops. Russia’s foreign ministry has said it has no plans to invade Ukraine.
Meanwhile, United Nations President Antonio Guterres attended a Munich security meeting. He commented that the Russia-Ukraine border war was too dangerous as no one from Russia attended the meeting.
