Union Minister of State L. Murugan and State President Annamalai are going to Delhi today to finalize the list of Tamil Nadu BJP candidates.
As the Lok Sabha elections are approaching, the BJP has released a preliminary list of 195 candidates. In this, no constituency or anyone’s name from Tamilnadu is included.
In this case, the state central committee meeting was held in Chennai to select BJP candidates in Tamil Nadu. The meeting, which started at 9.30 pm at Kamalalayam in Thiagarayar, was completed in about an hour and a half.

Following this, Union Minister of State L. Murugan and BJP State President Annamalai along with the list of proposed candidates are going to Delhi today. BJP’s election committee meeting will be held in Delhi on the 8th under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
Therefore, it is expected that Tamil Nadu will be included in BJP’s 2nd phase list of candidates to be released after that.
