26/04/2024 Poza Rica, Ver.- With an investment of one million 218 thousand 844 pesos, the Faculty of Medicine of the Health Sciences Unit of the Universidad Veracruzana (UV) in the region remodeled spaces in Building F, providing the public with a gynecology and obstetrics medical simulation area, i. As well as eight cubicles and a common area for its professors to provide adequate care for students.
In this regard, Martín Aguilar Sánchez, rector of the UV, recalled that actions were scheduled, based on the detection of needs during the first trip, to solve problems that arose in the university regions and it is in this third minute that they will go in confidence providing spaces for communities that seek to provide a solution to what academics and students have expressed.

Vice-rector Liliana Cuervo López said that the expansion of the physical plant of the Faculty of Medicine is fundamental to the development of substantial university activities.
“These new spaces ensure the development of preclinical professional skills and educational experiences in simulated environments such as gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery and primary care clinical rotations,” he said.

The simulator field addresses one of the committee’s recommendations for the accreditation of educational programs that must be endorsed in 2024.
