US committee seeks to prove Trump’s elaction plot | ‘Trump conspires to change US presidential election results’

Washington,

The United States held a presidential election on November 3, 2020. The election was contested by then-President Donald Trump as the Republican candidate and Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate.

Joe Biden won the tough match. This was followed by a joint sitting of the US Congress on January 6, 2021 to testify to Joe Biden’s victory. But Trump supporters, unable to accept it, besieged parliament and rioted. 5 of them were killed. It marked a turning point in American democratic history.

The U.S. House of Representatives is investigating. Liz Cheney, chairwoman of the panel, said:

Trump ignited the flames of attack during the violence in parliament. For months, Trump oversaw and coordinated a sophisticated 7-part plan to thwart the presidential election and prevent a change of presidential power. You will see the source of every aspect of this project. Trump planned to replace then-Attorney General Bill Barry to spread his misconception that the presidential election was rigged.

Trump really did not want to do anything to stop the riot or tell his supporters to leave. The public will hear evidence of this.

Trump expressed outrage at advisers who told him he had to do something to quell the riot, saying he was angry.
