New Delhi: The US recession will hit India in the medium term, research firm Nomura has said.

In this regard, the company added: The Indian economy, led by improvements in consumption, investment, industry, etc., is growing faster than normal. The services sector, last March, was lower than before the Corona. But now it is growing much more than that. This is very conducive to India’s economic growth. However, in the medium term, India’s economic growth will be affected by the current US recession. Growth will slow. In the United States, we predict that the recession will begin in the last quarter of the current year.

In this case, the impact will be felt in the Indian economy as well. India is already facing development challenges. In particular, inflation has risen beyond the government’s target. In the current year, India’s economic growth will be 7.2 percent. It will be 5.4 percent next year, Nomura said.
