The 49th Annual General Committee Meeting of Ponnamaravati Vattak Kazhagam was held on Sunday. Vattak Kazhagam President SKS attended the meeting. Palaniappan presided. Secretary M. Mohammad Abdullah read the annual report. Materialist Pl. Ramajayam presented the budget report.
In the meeting, the Election Officer Ramakrishnan inducted SKS Palaniappan as the new president, M. Mohammed Abdullah as the secretary and PL. Ramajayam as the treasurer. In the meeting, various resolutions were passed including that Revenue Quota Office, District Education Office, Regional Transport Offices in Ilupur should be separated and a branch should be set up in Ponnamaravati or Ponnamaravati circle should be merged with the office in Pudukottai.
