Geraldo Alckmin would spend around 8 hours on Mato Grosso soil this Wednesday (8)

The agenda with Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) in Mato Grosso do Sul is cancelled. The information was confirmed for the report by the vice-president of the Republic’s office recently.
Alckmin would stay for around 8 hours on Mato Grosso do Sul soil this Wednesday (8). He would arrive around 11 am for a technical visit to the UFN3 fertilizer factory (Nitrogenated Fertilizer Unit III), in Três Lagoas, alongside the Minister of Planning and Budget, Simone Tebet, the Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira, and the president of Petrobras, Jean Paul Prates, in addition to governor Eduardo Riedel (PSDB).
The delegation would fly over the factory facilities and then visit the UFN3 works. As announced by the governor, the factory, once completed, will be able to produce 15% of the country’s quantity of nitrogen fertilizers. Work has been stopped since 2014.
In the afternoon, in Campo Grande, the vice-president would participate in a meeting promoted by Fiems (Federation of Industries of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul) with businesspeople.
The estimate was that Alckmin would remain in the Capital until 6pm, from where he would depart back to Brasília.
The vice-president’s office informed that the cancellation was due to the impossibility of Jean Paul Prates, from Petrobras, being on the agenda. Alckmin considered that it would not make sense to keep the commitment and asked that a new date be scheduled to come to Mato Grosso do Sul. Simone Tebet was in charge of providing the agenda.
The report was unable to contact Petrobras’ advisors. Fiems also informed that the meeting with businesspeople will be rescheduled.
