The coordinator of the Sports and Wellbeing area of University Life-Piura, Master Víctor Zapata has more than nine years of experience in this center, from where he promotes the importance of sports among university students.

Master Víctor Rolando Zapata Figallo has been appointed as regional director of Piura of the University Sports Federation of Peru (Fedup), with the purpose that it can support the organization of university leagues and qualifying championships in its region, to obtain its representatives to the National University Games – Universiade.
In addition, among its functions is to encourage the practice and promotion of sports in the universities of Piura through university leagues and regional university sports championships.
Regarding his appointment, Zapata said: “It is a great honor and a great responsibility that I accept with humility and commitment. I appreciate the trust of the federation in my work and the support of the sports coordinators or heads of the different universities. “This appointment represents a renewed commitment to the development and strengthening of university sports in the region.”

For nine years, Víctor Zapata has been coordinator of the Sports and Wellbeing area, of University Life-Piura, of the UDEP. Likewise, he has a master’s degree in “International Sports Management”, from the ESBS European Sport Business School and the Fundación Valencia CF Training Center.
