“My intention is to destroy the person in front of me.” After the hidden cameras with millions of views, the Ninja Warrior obstacle courses and the bare-handed fights, the Chechen YouTuber IbraTv will fight at the Zénith de Paris on June 2, 2024 in the cage of the Hexagone MMA league. Its objective: to show the public that content creators “are not all clowns” and can compete with seasoned professionals.

“If we’re here, it’s because we have our place and we’re having fun,” explains the Grozny native. Known for having organized MMA fights in France before its legalization in 2020, IbraTV was propelled despite itself as an ambassador for this sport. “With my videos, I got people who knew nothing about it to want to get into boxing or MMA,” he says.

IbraTv is committed to two confrontations on the French MMA scene, but fans are especially waiting for his duel against Gregory Bouchelaghem, aka Greg MMA, the other French star of social networks. “Whether it’s Greg or anyone else, I prepare as if I were going to face a champion,” assures Ibra. “Once in the cage, we are animals (…) what I see in front of me is someone to be killed.”
