jpnn.comRIAU – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in parts of Riau will rain on Friday (22/3/3024).
Pekanbaru BMKG Forecaster On Duty, Putri Santy, said that in the morning the potential for light intensity rain is predicted to occur in parts of Kampar Regency.
In the afternoon to evening, the potential for rain with light to moderate intensity is predicted to occur in parts of Indragiri Hilir, Kuantan Singingi, Kampar and Rokan Hulu regencies.
At night, the potential for rain with light to moderate intensity is predicted to occur in parts of Rokan Hulu, Kuantan Singingi, Siak, Pelalawan, Kampar, Bengkalis, Indragiri Hulu and Pekanbaru City districts.
“Early warning, alert for rain with moderate to heavy intensity which can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds is predicted to occur in parts of Rokan Hulu, Kuantan Singingi, Kampar and Pelalawan Regencies in the afternoon, evening and early morning,” explained Putri.
The estimated wave height in the waters of Riau Province ranges from 0.50 – 1.25 meters (Low).
“There are 13 hotspots in the Riau region. “To be precise, they are in Meranti Regency with six, Siak with five and Pelalawan with two,” he said.
The air temperature in Riau reaches 23.0 – 32.0 °C, air humidity 60 – 99%, wind direction North West – North East / 10 – 30 km/hour. (mcr36/jpnn)
