Chennai,- ‘What will be done with the sugarcane currently available in the ration shops after distribution in the Pongal gift package?’ The Registrar of Co-operative Societies has written to the Commissioner of Food Supply.

In this case, in a letter written by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to the Commissioner of Food Supply Department on 20th, he has requested to give advice regarding the handling of sugarcane in stock in the ration shops when the Pongal gift package is distributed to the card holders.
