Media-owned messaging platform, WhatsApp has released a bug fix update for an issue with notifications on iOS. Some users on Twitter have reported that they are having trouble receiving notifications on WhatsApp, which prevents them from receiving notifications about new messages, WABetaInfo reports. The new feature allows companies to forward status updates to the Facebook or Instagram app. Beta testers on the business app can edit the ad and description, and can also choose how long to run it.
WhatsApp is also said to be rolling out a new feature for some beta testers on Android and iOS that allows users to see a list of groups they have in common with the contact they’re looking for. Beta users will see a new Shared Groups section when searching for contacts within the search bar.
