Anyone who previously decided to switch from an Android phone to an iPhone or vice versa had to say goodbye to their WhatsApp chat history: until today there was no way to transfer them between the two operating systems.
That is now changing: As WhatsApp announced today, a new function will be rolled out with which one can exchange chat histories between the operating systems.
The function still has a big catch.
