He said, today there is a debate about the declaration of independence of our country. Even after all these years, that debate continues. In our view, the reader of the declaration cannot be the announcer.
Obaidul Quader said, Abul Kashem, MA Hannan, many people read the declaration. There General Xiao read the Declaration of Independence on behalf of Bangabandhu. But the question is, who is the announcer? This debate will end only when we go to search for the truth. That is, only Bangabandhu got the mandate to declare independence from the people of this region through the 1970 elections. And no one has any legitimate right to proclaim freedom.
Awami League general secretary said, today after so many years we have to think about the people of this country, the undemocratic communal power of this country. Those who are creating obstacles against our victory, our freedom.
