The statement by the head of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping that China will become the world’s largest center for the development of human personal and professional resources was called an undermining of Western democracy. This became known on Tuesday, October 5.
“In the near future, China will become a magnet for the world’s best minds, working in key areas of various innovations. Resources have already been provided for the development of the program – we will do our best for China to become a leader in nurturing technical geniuses, ”the head of state said at a special all-China meeting.
The chosen strategy provides for such factors as the promotion of the systemic cultivation of people with certain talents, the creation of a favorable environment for their improvement, the promotion of the total “spirit of science and education”, as well as the principle: human resources is a priority in the development of the country.
Analysts noted that the principle announced by China runs counter to the main provisions of Western democracy, when all people are in equal conditions.
“If China’s strategy is successful, it will deal a crushing blow to the Western system of democratic values,” the RIA Novosti report says.
Earlier, on October 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a congratulatory telegram to Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the PRC, said he was confident in further building up mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
Earlier, on August 25, a telephone conversation took place between Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping. As the Kremlin specified, during the talks, the leaders of Russia and China agreed to intensify bilateral contacts and close coordination, primarily through the foreign ministries.
On the occasion of the approaching 76th anniversary of the end of World War II, they also noted the demand for work to preserve the truth about the events of those years and prevent attempts to falsify history.
In connection with the 20th anniversary of the conclusion of the Treaty on Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, which is celebrated this year, it was stated that the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership is progressively and dynamically developing.
On July 16, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov pointed out that cooperation between the Russian Federation and the PRC in foreign policy is an example of the responsible behavior of great powers in the international arena.
