Yandex changed its mind about developing an internal service for finding freelancers Crowd. This was reported to Vedomosti by two interlocutors close to the company. Back in the winter, Yandex planned to bring Crowd to the market so that other companies could use the service by posting their vacancies there. But now Yandex’s plans have changed and the service will remain internal, the interlocutors of Vedomosti specified.
Yandex Crowd was created in September 2022, then TASS reported on the registration of the corresponding legal entity. Crowd is a service for finding freelancers for solving various tasks, such as development, content moderation, design, indicated on the Yandex website. Now there are 27 vacancies posted there, some of them involve a remote or hybrid format. Moscow, Belgrade, Yekaterinburg and Alma-Ata are indicated as locations for work. Salaries are not specified.
