The Iraqi Handball Federation concludes the training camp for the youth and junior national team held in Sulaymaniyah Governorate in preparation for the upcoming regional competitions.
Director of the Media Office of the Handball Federation, Hossam Abdel Redha, told the (INA), today, Monday: “The training was held under the supervision of the Iraqi technical staff, led by coach Khaled Adnan, and in two morning and evening training units, during which the youth team played two friendly matches with the Sulaymaniyah Club, while the team led The junior national team is coached by Tunisian professional coach Hossam bin Mohammed bin Al-Nour.
Abdul Redha added, “The Iraqi Federation seeks to create a new base of players after a long period of absence from foreign participation, as well as to prepare for the Asian Championship for the youth team, which will be held next July in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. As for the junior team, its championship will be held in Iran in the middle of next August.” “.
