Thrissur: Due to the failure of the private bank’s server, the youths were arrested for embezzling crores of money in the account. Nidin and Manu, natives of Thrissur’s Arimpur, spent the two crore rupees that reached their account in hours. Thrissur Cyber Police arrested both of them in the incident.
The incident related to the case happened two days ago. 2.44 crore rupees came into the account of one of the youths from one of the new generation banks. The young man had an account in this bank. As the money unexpectedly arrived in the account, the youths were competing and spending crores. Bought iPhones and invested money in the share market. Along with trading, both of them paid their debts.

Within hours, the youth transferred money to 54 accounts in 19 banks. 171 transactions were done for this.
A merger was underway between the bank where the youth had an account with another bank. In the meantime, it is believed that crores have entered their accounts by mistake. There is also a doubt that they were trying to take advantage of the situation at the time of merger.
The youths were arrested on a complaint filed by the bank authorities after learning about the failure. Police said there are no other cases against the youth. The police have decided to conduct a detailed investigation into the incident.
