San Salvador. The academies of Zacamil, Agabeisi and Colegio Dominico-Santa Ana won their respective matches on the second date of the national AA Children’s championship.

Zacamil defeated Bengoa 20 runs to 3; Agabeisi (La Libertad) also won as a visitor 18-3 against Meanguera del Golfo (La Unión); while Colegio Dominico (Santa Ana) beat Soyapango 15 points to 5.

With the results, Zacamil and Agabeisi share the top of the standings with a 2-0 record. They are closely followed by Colegio Dominico and Meanguera del Golfo with a balance of 1-1. Soyapango and Bengoa are at the bottom of the standings with 0-2.

On the “Bengoita” diamond of the Saturnino Bengoa Complex, Zacamil’s team took its second win of the week by beating the home team 20-3. In a duel of debut starters, Alexis Reyes took the victory, while Ulises Rivas charged with the reverse.

In the east of the country, Agabeisi’s squirrels defeated Meanguera del Golfo 18 runs to 3, at the Cyril Errington stadium in La Unión. Edwin Calderón was the winning pitcher, while Javier Alfaro carried the backhand.

The third match of the date resulted in a victory for Colegio Dominico/Santa Ana, 15 scores to 5 for Soyapango, a match staged at the Jorge Elías Bahaia Stadium in the Don Bosco Citadel. The Westerners were home club in this challenge. Jefferson Ruano was the winning pitcher and Alexander Sánchez was the defeated one.

The third date of the AA Children’s championship will be played next Saturday, March 23 with the duels: Agabeisi vs Zacamil, Bengoa vs Colegio Dominico/Santa Ana and Meanguera del Golfo vs Soyapango.
