Today, Saturday, the Zionist entity’s army bombed the Rafah area in the far south of the Gaza Strip, at a time when the occupation army began preparing a plan to evacuate hundreds of thousands of civilians from there before a possible ground attack.

At dawn on Saturday, witnesses reported raids in the vicinity of the city of Rafah, which is now inhabited by about 1.3 million Palestinians, that is, more than half the population of the Gaza Strip, the vast majority of whom are people who took refuge there to escape the violence in the north.

The occupying Prime Minister ordered his army to prepare a plan to evacuate civilians from Rafah, amid fear from the United States and the United Nations of a possible attack on this city, which constitutes a last refuge for those displaced from the war in the Gaza Strip.

The US State Department warned this week that “carrying out an operation in Rafah, without planning and with little thought, in an area inhabited by a million people, would be a disaster.”
