Madurai: In Madurai, the postal pensioners’ grievance redressal meeting at the regional level will be held at the computer training center in the office of the South Zone Postmaster on April 19 at 11:00 am. Pensioners should send their grievances by March 16,’ said Accounts Officer Porkodi.
He said: In this meeting, the petitions of people belonging to Madurai, Dindigul, Theni, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Tenkasi and Kanyakumari districts will be considered regarding delay in getting their pension benefits, shortfall in pension, family pensions and grievances.
Grievances should be sent to ‘Accounts Officer, Head of Post Office, South Zone, Madurai, 2’ with relevant details including telephone number by ordinary, registered and express post. Do not send by courier. Those who are unable to participate in person will be able to participate through video conferencing on April 19 at 3:00 pm. He said that the information will be sent.
