So far, 14 people have been confirmed dead in the attack on a concert hall in the suburbs of Moscow this evening, Reuters reported, citing local media.
According to the Russian feed of “Euronews”, which refers to channels in “Telegram”, the dead are as many as 40, the wounded at least 100.
Up to five people carried out the attack in a hall in the city of Krasnogorsk, near the Russian capital Moscow, during a concert by the rock band Picnic. The musicians themselves were not injured, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.
It is reported that the attackers were in camouflage uniforms, that they fired with automatic weapons, that they also caused a fire in the hall located on the outskirts of Moscow in a large mall. There is also mention of an explosion that preceded the shooting.

Footage on Russian social media shows people trying to escape from the concert hall. A shot is heard. Other footage showed people appearing to be lying in a pool of blood outside the concert hall, but the authenticity of the footage could not be confirmed, Reuters reported.
