He highlighted the reactionary nature of the criticism, stating, “As always, whenever a minority community comes up, people immediately point to the idea of a white replacement, as if the male protagonist in the game isn’t white. This is all reactionary stuff, and honestly, it’s better to just ignore it rather than get sucked into a steaming pile of toxic waste.”
