Political observer Dedi Kurnia Syah agrees with the birth of this large coalition. According to him, if you read about previous or current governments, there are advantages if the grand coalition discourse is actually realized.
“The advantages in question are the stability and effectiveness of political decisions. This makes it easier for the government to carry out development work,” said Dedi, Friday (22/3/2024).
As is known, this large coalition emerged after DPP Secretary General Gerindra Ahmad Muzani revealed it to the public recently.
Muzani said that the existence of a large coalition was very important for the success of the major programs that Prabowo-Gibran would carry out.
Furthermore, Dedi assessed that it was very possible that the opportunity for a large coalition would be realized. However, of course, provided that it is done proportionally. The party supporting Prabowo-Gibran must receive a portion commensurate with their political performance, especially in terms of winning.
“In particular, Golkar (must get more portion, ed), considering that Golkar is the largest party and represents Gibran,” explained Dedi.
This means, continued Dedi, that it is quite rational if Golkar is involved in important decisions of the large coalition.
