Chennai: Tamil superstar Ajith has come out and asked people not to call him ‘Tala’ anymore. The note also asked that Ajith should only be called Ajit Kumar or AK. The reason is not specified. However, it has been speculated that this may be due to an online altercation between former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni’s fans and Ajith’s fans.
Dhoni has been described by fans as the ‘head’ of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings. Fans started calling Ajith ‘Tala’ after the 2001 film ‘Deena’ directed by AR Murugadoss.
