Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: Al-Nujaba Movement described the presence of American forces in Iraq as only an advisory body as a lie, but rather as combat forces.

Al-Masala publishes the text of the statement:

We congratulate the Hezbollah Brigades on the ascension of the martyr of the Islamic resistance in Iraq, the martyr Fadel Atiya al-Maksusi, who rose as a martyr as a result of a brutal American aggression.

The heinous crime committed by the occupation proves its lie about the presence of its forces as an advisory body only, and clearly reveals a hostile combat presence that threatens the security of Iraq and the security of the region. It also proves the occupation’s indifference to any law, its lack of respect for any sovereignty, and its failure to recognize any decision, which goes beyond sovereignty. He violates the laws whenever he wants, and this alone is enough to resist him and expel him from our country and region.

The natural result of our resistance will be the near and decisive victory, the expulsion of the occupation, and the military liberation of Iraq, just as the natural result for any of our mujahideen is martyrdom.

We, in the Islamic Resistance, Harakat al-Nujaba, pledge to God Almighty, the sons of our sacrificing people, our patient nation, and our righteous martyrs to continue the jihad and work to rid our country of the filth of the occupation and injustice. We promise the occupation that it will pay the price for its brutal crimes, and they will receive double the punishment for their crime in the near future.
