Amit Shah asks BJP leaders to ensure ‘big victory’ in Lok Sabha elections

Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday, on the second day of the two-day BJP office-bearers’ meeting in the national capital, called on party leaders to ensure that the party achieves a big victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Shah also asked party leaders to make the inauguration of Ram temple in Ayodhya a massive success. According to party sources, Shah said in the meeting that the work done by the government has to be highlighted before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and the party has to win the elections with a huge margin. “We have to achieve such a big victory that the opposition has to think 10 times before standing before us,” sources quoted Shah as saying.

The Union Home Minister also stressed on strengthening the party organization and underlined the importance of booth level workers. Sources said that in the meeting, Shah asked the officials to encourage the public to participate in prayers and other religious activities across the country on the occasion of the inauguration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. “From January 1, BJP workers will go door-to-door and participate in activities like distributing Akshat, organizing special prayers in temples and lighting lamps,” the Union Home Minister said.

Apart from this, during the meeting the saffron party also discussed the strategy to connect new voters with the party. Sources said, “For this, public meetings and conferences will be organized at various levels. Also, the party will run a large-scale campaign across the country to attract new voters.” He told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can address a conference of new voters on the occasion of Youth Day.

Sources said the BJP will focus on supporting women, the poor, youth and farmers across the country and several programs will be organized in the run up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. BJP leaders were directed to disseminate information with the help of party workers about the government’s efforts towards the construction of a grand Ram temple. Sources said he was also asked to go to the public and tell them about the opposition’s actions “against the construction of Ram temple”. Party leaders have been instructed to actively participate in the programs organized by RSS and VHP.
