Yesterday (Thursday) the chairman of the Blue and White Party, Avihu Han, signed the agreement Yona Yahav support agreement to the mayor, ahead of the second round of the elections, during a press conference that the two called.
The details of the agreement show that the two agreed on the following roles:
Our Haifa faction: Sophie Naksha took a picture of the deputy mayor and the holder of the finance portfolio, the representative of the faction will be the chairman of the finance committee, the representatives of the faction will serve as the chairmen of the corporations: the economic company, the Yaffa Nof company, the High Center company and the theater company.
Faction ‘Green Blue and White’: Avihu Han will serve as the mayor’s deputy and deputy mayor for a full term with a salary, including conducting plenary meetings in the mayor’s absence and holding the portfolio of environmental quality and neighborhoods (according to a surveyor of our 3+1 representatives of Haifa). Han will also serve as chairman of the Union of Cities for the Environment. The representatives of the faction will serve as chairmen of: the Conservation Committee and the Shekmona Company.
In the case of additional factions joining the agreement, they will be able to appoint deputy mayors in the following outline: a faction of 4 or more members – a paid deputy mayor for the entire term, a faction of at least 2 members – a paid deputy mayor for half a term. Priority will be given to the faction that joined the agreement first. The factions of the coalition will receive representation in the committees and the corporations according to their relative number and the order of their joining the coalition.
The parties also signed to maintain several principles and promote them, among others: “Management of the city based on liberal principles, while ensuring full equality of rights for all population groups in the city, regardless of origin, religion, sex or gender, and while promoting a harmonious life between all groups the population in the city”.
In addition, providing quality and efficient services to residents, including implementing smart city technologies; promoting construction in the city based on the principles of sustainable development; business promotion and development; maintaining the quality of life of the residents; promoting culture and leisure; transparency and proper administration in the municipality; Public participation in decision-making including through neighborhood committees; Promotion and development of public and clean transportation in the city and other principles.
