The Bulgarian star of world rank in mixed martial arts (MMA) Blagoi Ivanov will compete with a Russian fighter for the start of the new challenge he is undertaking, and about which “24 Chasa” was the first to report.
On April 4, Bagata will take part in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) gala night in San Antonio, Texas, and in a heavyweight clash he will face Sergey Belosteni.
The 37-year-old Ivanov signed a contract only for this tournament, and it is yet to be clear what his future in the circuit will be.
Belosteni is 9 years younger than our fighter and 4 cm taller than him. His kilograms are 112, and those of Bagata – 118.
In the MMA ring, the Russian has a record of 11 wins and 3 losses. He last entered the Octagon for a fight in September of last year, when he won by technical knockout against Kasim Aras.
On July 1, 2023, Bagata bowed out to Moldavian Alexander Romanov in his final UFC bout.
Ivanov has 19 wins and 6 losses in his career. He is preparing for the game in Las Vegas, where he lives. He leaves for San Antonio on Monday.
