Within the framework of the 3rd National Congress of the National Association of Tour Operators of Mexico AC (Antomex), a business organization that brings together the state associations of tour operators and other tourism sectors in Mexico, an agreement was signed between said group and the World Wine Tourism Organization (OMET).
Verónica Ochoa Abundis, president of Tourist Guides and Servers of Baja California (SeruguíoaBC), indicated that during the celebration of this event, held in Cuernavaca, Morelos, from October 8 to 11, the organizations strengthened ties to improve the wine tourism sector through innovation, professionalization and strategic marketing.
He explained that OMET’s focus is on enriching the experience of visitors to wine-growing areas worldwide, adapting to market demands and the growth of regions, such as Coahuila, Baja California, Aguascalientes and Querétaro, in Mexico. .
Starting today and for the next few days, Antomex, OMET, Baja Wine Tours and Vive Villarino, organize a FAM Trip in Tijuana and Ensenada, to publicize the benefits that the entity offers, in terms of gastronomy and viticulture.
It is expected to have the presence of special guests and authorities such as José Antonio Vidal Brea, president of OMET; Luis Gilberto González Arocha, president of Antomex, and Eluid Homero Molina Sierra, president of the Association of Tour Operators Coahuila and its Magical Towns (ATOC).

In addition to the participation of Miguel Aguiñiga Rodríguez, Secretary of Tourism of Baja California; Gilberto Gamiño Herrera, president of the Association of Hosts and Tour Operators of Baja California (AatopBC), Mauricio Cantú Barajas, president of the Baja California Provino Committee, and Marco Antonio Estudillo Bernal, restaurant and wine businessman, as well as president of the Business Coordinating Council of Ensenada (CCEE).
Among the activities that will take place from today until Saturday the 14th, there is a Tijuana Gourmet Tour, tours at Bodegas de Santo Tomás, La Reina, El Cielo, Viña de Liceaga, talks at Bodega F. Rubio, Maglén, and a brunch in Four Fours.
