New Delhi: BJP has released the fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Many surprising names have emerged in this list. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been given ticket from Mandi. Varun Gandhi’s ticket has been canceled. Maneka Gandhi’s name is in the list, she will contest from Sultanpur in UP. In this list, names of candidates for the remaining seats of UP have been declared. Earlier, BJP had announced candidates for 51 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh.
Names of 111 candidates in BJP’s new list
Names of 111 candidates have appeared in the new list of BJP. Actress Kangana Ranaut will contest from Mandi in the fifth list of Lok Sabha candidates. Naveen Jindal’s ticket from Kurukshetra has been confirmed. He left Congress and joined BJP on Sunday itself. In the new list, BJP has fielded Arun Govil from Meerut. Along with this, BJP also announced the names of candidates for 17 seats in Bihar. In this list, Ashwini Chaubey’s ticket has been cut from Buxar. BJP has also given ticket to Sita Soren, sister-in-law of former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. She will be seen staking her claim from Dumka.
Varun Gandhi’s ticket canceled, Maneka’s name in the list
Varun Gandhi’s name is not in the list, he was MP from Pilibhit. In his place, this time Jitin Prasad has been fielded from Pilibhit. Whereas his mother Maneka Gandhi has been given ticket from Sultanpur seat. Before the fifth list of BJP came out, sitting MP of Kanpur, BJP leader Satyadev Pachauri refused to contest the elections.
