The cabinet meeting held yesterday decided to give 10 percent preference in government purchases to local companies that meet the standards in Bahrain. To encourage such companies and increase their contribution to the economy, it was decided to launch a scheme called ‘Takamul’.
The said decision has been taken in a cabinet meeting held at Gudaibiya Palace under the chairmanship of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
