A 29-year-old man was killed today (Tuesday) in a car accident between two vehicles on Route 784, near the Yephtachel intersection in the Lower Galilee. MDA medics and paramedics determined the death of the man, who was trapped in the vehicle, and evacuated a 25-year-old woman and a two-year-old toddler to the “Rambam” hospital in Haifa in a minor condition.

A senior medic at the MDA, Iyad Hibi said: “This is a very serious car accident. The driver of one of the vehicles, a 29-year-old man, was trapped in the driver’s seat while he was unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury. We performed medical tests but he had no signs of life and we had no choice but to determine his death. The driver of the second vehicle, a 25-year-old woman and a 2-year-old baby were treated on the spot and evacuated by MDA ambulance to Rambam Hospital in a minor condition.”

Meanwhile, a 4-year-old boy was brought to a local clinic in Tel Sheva after apparently being hit by a vehicle. MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him in medium-severe condition to the “Soruka” hospital in Be’er Sheva, suffering from a head injury.
