China plans to largely eliminate typical endemic diseases by the end of 2015

The recently promulgated All-China Program on the Prevention and Treatment of Endemic Diseases for the 12th Five-Year Plan / 2011-2015 / provides for the creation of a long-term working mechanism in the fight against endemic diseases, corresponding to the socio-economic development of the country, in order to eliminate a number of typical endemic diseases.
