WiLAT is an international women’s organization under the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) based in the UK focusing on logistics and transportation.

The organization was founded in June 2013 to continuously promote the industry, especially for the advancement of women and to empower women who still run very few logistics and transportation businesses.

Chairman of WiLAT (Women in Logistics and Transport) Indonesia, Nurmaria Sarosa, said that input to the government must be continuously provided so that the policies issued can be in sync with implementation in the field.

According to Nurmaria, WiLAT also understands that there are other tasks in this world to protect the planet for future generations, including being at the forefront of responding to climate change and preparing a logistics industry that is increasingly green, paying attention to gender equality and being more responsible in carrying out our work in the industry.
