A mass update on the collections of the Venkat Prabhu-directed Film Conference film released late last year has now been released.

The conference was a mass success for Simbu, who had recently been without much success. The movie “Maanaadu” directed by Venkat Prabhu and starring Suresh Simbu and produced by suresh kamatchi was released on November 25 and is running successfully.

The film stars SJ Surya, Kalyani Priyadarshan, SA Chandrasekhar, YG Mahendran, Karunakaran, Premki Amaran, Arvind Akash and Anjena Keerthi in supporting roles along with Silambarasan. The music and composer of the film is Yuvan Shankar Raja, Richard M. Nathan has done the cinematography and Praveen K. L has done the editing.

Five months after the release of the film, the producer of the film Suresh Kamatchi has announced the overall collection of the conference conference. The film has grossed Rs 117 crore worldwide so far and has been declared the blockbuster film of the year.
