Doha: Qatar and Cornish have transformed the celebrations into a festival that comes at the end of a two-year discipline of the code that sets boundaries for celebrations and gatherings. On the day of the festival, Qatar’s cultural city was the most visited. At three o’clock in the evening, people flocked from all over the country.

At the entrance the children were given sweets and gifts were received. By nightfall, Qatar’s vast courtyard and beach became crowded. Indigenous people and expatriates from different countries came here. Many artists came on stage to entertain and delight them. The event was held in Qatar with songs, dances and orchestras. At night, there was a spectacular fireworks display on the beach.

The festivities at Cornish last for three days from Tuesday, the second day of the festival. Visitors flocked to the Corniche early for events starting at 4pm. Meanwhile, the first day of the balloon parade was canceled due to inclement weather. The parade, which was scheduled to take place at 4.30, was initially postponed to 9.30. It was later canceled.

The festivities began with a helium balloon display at 4 p.m. Various art and sports events were held from 5 p.m. This was followed by singing performances by Mahmoud Al Turkey. It was nine o’clock at night with a colorful fireworks display. On Wednesday, the second day, there will be a concert led by Nasser Al Qubaisi.
