Covid Germany today, infections are growing

Covid infections in Germany are starting to rise again, but deaths are decreasing. According to today’s bulletin of the Robert Koch Institute, the new cases in the last 24 hours are 985, while last Wednesday they were 808. The deaths are 48, down from 56 a week ago.

The data comes while there is concern about the increase in infections due to the delta variant, but vaccination continues which limits the most serious cases.
