New Delhi: RT-PCR negative certificate may be made mandatory for passengers coming from China and 5 other countries from next week. International passengers coming from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore should fill the ‘Air Suvidha’ form and carry the RT-PCR test result of 72 hours before. Information will be made mandatory from next week.
Out of the 6,000 people who were tested in the last two days, 39 international travelers were tested positive for Covid-19. It is reported that there may be a jump in the number of Covid cases in India in January. The Union Health Ministry says the next 40 days are crucial.
With the number of Covid cases increasing in some countries, including China and South Korea, the central government had issued an alert and asked states and union territories to be prepared for any eventuality.
