AOSTA. The bill on Covid compensation for temporary and seasonal workers presented by the regional council eight days ago passed unanimously in the IV Commission. The measure concerns those who no longer perceive Naspi.
Giulio Grosjacques, President of the Commission, will also be the rapporteur of the text in the Regional Council. “The Commission – says Grosjacques – is aware of the importance and urgency of this bill which will be included on the supplementary agenda of the next Council: it is a first immediate response to all temporary workers, including seasonal workers. the productive sectors that, due to the effects of the pandemic, have lost their jobs and have ceased to benefit from the new social insurance benefit for employment. The benefits provided are 1,500 euros for those who have not been covered by Naspi for at least sixty days and € 1,000 for less than sixty days “.
The financial coverage amounts to one million euros for the year 2021.
