Chennai Metropolitan Traffic Police has released the current status of vehicle traffic in Chennai.
According to a press release issued by the Traffic Police, the current situation of Chennai Metropolitan Traffic today (01.01.2022) due to heavy rains in Chennai.
1. Tunnels closed due to floods: –
* Madley Tunnel
* Rangarajapuram two wheeler subway
2. Traffic is slow on the following roads due to rainwater runoff

* KP Dasan Road
* Thirumalaipillai Road
* Pasulla Road
3. City Bus Transport Change: –
Buses passing through Vanimahal have been diverted via Bharathiraja Junction.
மோட்டார் Rainwater harvesting is being carried out by motor pumpsets on tunnels and roads in Chennai metropolis.
பொதுமக்கள் The public traveling in vehicles is advised to carefully select the roads as per their destination as rain water has accumulated on the roads. Thus it is stated.
