Doctor Myasnikov urged Russians not to go to the doctor with a certain temperature

by time news

Doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov on social networks recommended that Russians not go to the doctor for ARVI with a temperature below 38 degrees.

He noted that he had recently received an SMS mailing list saying that the number of coronavirus cases in Moscow was growing due to the spread of the Omicron strain.

“If you have symptoms of SARS, and the temperature does not rise above 38 degrees, you can, of course, contact the doctor on duty at the clinic or call 122. But why do this? Doctors, of course, are ready to accept all patients, but I will ask: “why?”. What do you expect from such an appeal? To reassure you, to be assured that everyone was well prescribed nasal drops and paracetamol? I urge everyone to show prudence and cope with a mild SARS, as they did before: home regimen and patience, ”said Myasnikov.

He stressed that with such volumes of infection, a serious burden will fall on the outpatient service. Now the number of doctors on duty has been increased, but under certain circumstances this number may not be enough. At the same time, they work from 8 to 20 hours seven days a week.
