BOLZANO. In South Tyrol the last bell that will mark the end of the 2023/2024 school year is scheduled for Friday 14 June. For four Italian-language institutes, the end of classroom lessons was brought forward by a few days compared to the scheduled timetable. The provincial council, on the proposal of the education councilor, Marco Galateo, approved the request of four lower secondary schools in the province to bring forward their closure.
The institute “Archimede” of Bolzanoprimary school “Alfieri” of Bolzano and the institute “Foscolo” of Bolzano have requested early closure to June 12, 2024, while the school “Filzi” by Laives has scheduled the last day of lessons for June 13, 2024. The four Italian language institutes in the province have requested that the end of lessons be brought forward in order to be able to complete the state exams by June 30, as required by the ministry’s directives.
