Born on 3 July 1940, he was 81 years old: his wife Lina and children Massimo and Sara gave the news of his death. “Ennio Doris left us. A great man, a great entrepreneur, a great patriot, a great Italian ”, wrote Silvio Berlusconi. Doris was among the protagonists of the national banking scene for 40 years. In 1982, with the support of Berlusconi and Fininvest, he founded “Programma Italia”, the first network of global consultants in the savings sector. In 1997, “Programma Italia” was transformed into Banca Mediolanum, with Ennio Doris as president. Two years later Mediolanum launches the “online bank” with an advertising campaign that sees Doris himself as a testimonial.
