THE Evangelia Plataniotis won the gold medal in the technical solo and brought the first Greek distinction in the world championship in wet athletics Doha.
He entered in the final with the best performance of the qualifier (270,1901) and executing her program even better, she was rated with 272,9633, overall, receiving in the artistic part 101.6500 points and in the performance 171.3133.
Platanioti reached the top success of her career to date, in a well-deserved way. In the summer of 2022 in Budapest, Evangelia Plataniotis had brought the first medals for artistic swimming in the world championships, the bronzes from the technical and free program in the solo.
The Greek champion climbed to the highest step of the podium and during the playing of the national anthem she did not hide her joy, but also her smile.
