Pretty much everything went wrong here.
It was the last episode of the “Grill den Henssler” anniversary season – and in it the cooking studio was shaken up again on Sunday evening.
The audience greeted TV chef Steffen Henssler (51) with thunderous applause, after which presenter Laura Wontorra (34) couldn’t resist saying: “Surprisingly, they still like you. Even though you’ve already done so much crap in this ‘Grill den Henssler’ year!’

As a farewell, Wontorra was hoping for a very special final round and had invited three celebrity guests again. Presenter Guido Cantz (52), “The PS Professionals” presenter Sidney Hoffmann (44) and reality star Evelyn Burdecki (35) were allowed to whirl around the kitchen under the guidance of cooking coach Marcello Fabbri (52).
Burdecki had already caused a state of emergency in the kitchen on her last visits. However, that evening she delivered such a dessert disaster that cooking coach Fabbri was even allowed to break a rule.

“Can a professional help us?”
Even before preparing the dessert “Sweet Schupfnudeln with poppy seeds, vanilla sauce and roasted plums,” Evelyn Burdecki gave up: “My heart is pounding again. Let’s go again. I know I’m going to sweat.”
Wontorra joked: “It’s lucky you were wearing something airy” – but shortly afterwards the drama began. First Evelyn smashed the grater apart, then the first pots flew onto the floor. Our nerves were already on edge: “Can a professional help us somewhere?”

Guido Cantz took pity, but also joked: “I would say extra slapstick points.” Meanwhile, Burdecki cursed uncontrollably and continued to throw pots around. Laura Wontorra had a lot of fun and remembered the last cooking dramas with Burdecki in the Henssler kitchen: “Evelyn, you are just such a bank!” She was now mourning her charred sugar: “The sugar is black. Laura, I messed up with the sugar!”

Henssler gives away helper minutes
The drama didn’t go unnoticed by Steffen Henssler either. After seeing the clouds of smoke coming from the kitchen next door, he was worried about the studio: “Heidewitzka. Not that the fire alarm goes off here!” However, the desperate Burdecki had secured his pity. The TV chef made an offer that had never been made before at “Grill den Henssler”.
He generously granted cooking coach Fabbri an extra minute of help in the kitchen, who immediately rushed off to give the distraught Evelyn a helping hand. Wontorra confirmed: “Marcello, premiere! You can help for a minute.”
While he prevented the worst disasters, he received motivating words from his protégé Burdecki: “You’re doing great!”

Wontorra also suffered from the TV star and helped out shortly afterwards: “Evelyn triggers such a helper syndrome in you. It makes me feel like a mother!” Of course, a conversation with the guest was not possible in this chaos – Burdecki was now far too busy spilling her dessert on the floor.
“I spilled. And I’ll get rid of it too!” Then the unlucky Evelyn was struck by a violent coughing fit, which she tried to get rid of with a sip of her own vanilla sauce. Cooking colleague Cantz was very impressed by his team partner’s impressive performance: “Henssler can take a few lessons from the performance!”

Victory for Henssler in the season finale
One would have thought that Burdecki’s chaos creation would receive bad criticism – but juror Jana Ina Zarrella (46) had hearts in her eyes even before the first taste: “Schupfnudeln! Giovanni has conquered my heart with this.” She gave Burdecki’s blue plate a total of nine points, while Henssler’s dessert only received seven points: “The Schupfnudeln looked very strange. They were very doughy.”

Christian Rach (66) saw it completely differently: He awarded ten points to Henssler’s red plate, while Burdecki only got seven. Reiner “Calli” Calmund (74) also liked the TV chef’s creation better: nine points for red, seven points for blue.
Steffen Henssler was also happy about the overall victory: He won against the celebrities with 105 to 91 points.
